One of MC-Rx´s predecessor companies, MC-21, has provided pharmacy benefit management services to the healthcare plan established by the Government of Puerto Rico for over 20 years.

Pharmacy benefit management services include the development and management of the drug lists covered for the beneficiaries of Plan de Salud VITAL del Gobierno de Puerto Rico, the development of clinical criteria under which drugs will be approved, and the set-up and management of a pharmacy network spanning across the island to facilitate patients’ access to their medications.

• Pharmacy Network: MC-Rx manages a pharmacy network, with locations spanning across the island, to facilitate patients’ access to their medications. Use the Pharmacy Locator to find a participating pharmacy near you, or check if your favorite pharmacy is a Plan de Salud VITAL del Gobierno de Puerto Rico provider. When visiting the pharmacy, remember to take your prescription and health plan card with you.
